Day 707 - Beach to beach and back

We commenced yet another day of island life off the coast of Malaysia by feasting on fresh fruits, mango shakes and coffee - basically living life in true beach bum fashion! After lunch we went for another jungle hike over to our little piece of seclusion we stumbled across yesterday - we were a little taken aback when we arrived and there were two other people there baking in the sun!!


We came across another huge moniter lizard at least 1.5m in length - it apparently wasn't as happy to see us and we were to see him and made a break for the jungle. While trying to find the reptile in the jungle we came across a cool brown tree snake lazing under the canopy. Apart from our reptile friends we spent the rest of the time either sunning on the beach or swimming to our hearts' content in the warm waters.


We made it back in time for a sunset drink and snack, as eating and drinking are the main past times in island life! We took a brief stroll along the beach and out onto the pier where we gazed at stars and the bright lights of the restaurants reflecting in the inky black night water.
