Day 464 - A return trip to Issyk Kol

With Liv feeling marginally better today we caught a marshrutka to Tamga, a small village on the south shore of Issyk Kol (the famous lake we made our way half around last week). The ride around the south shore was far more scenic than the north shore, and we stopped off at a few places along the way including at a colourful vege market, but the roads reflect the fact that you make your way from village to village rather than from town to town. Nevertheless we arrived in Tamga in one piece around 7pm, and after buying some noodles for dinner from the local 'supermarket', we wandered along the ghost town like streets searching for a place to crash. We found a sign that said "Guesthouse" and gave us the house number. When we arrived there was no one there but a gorgeous little boy singing to his hearts content on his potty!!! Soon mum arrived and we were set for the night!
