Since we leave our beach bum days behind for a while we though we'd spend today as lazily as possible. This meant we slept late, lazed on our garden veranda till lunch time and even had some much enjoyed contact with home! Of course we ultimately ended up at our fav beach shack where we chilled out before making our way to Margao for our overnight train to Kerala.
On board we were greeted by the most filthy train we've ridden on so far in our travels - redundant pages of our Lonely Planet were ripped out and used to clean the floor to make room for our bags. The filth was made worse by the fact that our beds were the closest to the toilet in the whole train - not a nice smell to fall asleep to!! And so sleep we did not ...
