We stopped off at the New Lodge half way between Khangsar and Base Camp for tea and a break before starting the death defying walk over landslides to make it to the end!!! While Adam was totally comfortable crossing the 20cm unstable gravel path with a 200m drop to the bottom and the potential for more rockfalls from above, Liv was ABSOLUTELY petrified. This meant that for the hour walk over the landslide area Adam pretty much had to walk backwards the whole way to hold Liv's hands!
The end of the story is that we made it in the end, with no tears (though they were close), and now Liv's really dreading the return trip tomorrow ... 
When we arrived at base camp Linzey and Chris had managed to get us the last beds in the hotel, and after lunch we had an amble up the hill to laze in the sun while enjoying the experience of being enclosed in a 360 degree mountainous bowl.Adlibing it over landslides.
