As we are still relatively low, we only got glimpses of snow-capped mountains, and most of the day we were walking through small farming villages with phenomenal views of golden, terraced rice fields. 
At Syange we found a guesthouse that had a dining room overlooking the river, where we drank, ate and chatted with one of the many fellow trekkers we had meet along the way.
