TRAVEL TIP: Chinese help for travellers

While we were staying in Hangzhou, we met Ray Zhou, from Yoyoor - Smart Phone Rental. His company has developed this cool smart phone that you hire by paying a daily rental (around $8 a day) while in China. It's a cellphone (with inbuilt IP cheap calling), camera, gps system, and also gives you 24 hour access to a live Chinese translator. We have to say we haven't used the phone, but it sounds and looks great to us - especially for travellers to China who can't speak any Chinese!
