Day 640 - More shopping!

Even though we shopped ourselves to the ground yesterday, we went in for more today. However, instead of cooking ourselves in the outdoor oven, we made our way to the MBK - one of Bangkok's biggest shopping malls. Here we found where all the Thai people have been hiding since we got here!! The MBK is like any mall back home, but about 10 times bigger, and much cheaper - this is the curse that soon emptied our wallet and loaded our arms with bags!!
Our purchases were mainly things we need for travelling - the joy of malls means that everything we meed is in one place, it's just a matter of finding them. The most exciting purchase of the day was some cute shoes for Liv!
On our way back home after a full day of shopping we stopped off at the temple just across the road from our hotel (in fact you can see it from our window) - here the golden roof sparkled in the sun as orange-robed monks wandered the grounds.
